Overview
A large, bipedal primate reported throughout the forests of North America. Described as standing 7–10 feet tall and covered in dark brown or reddish-black hair. The Patterson–Gimlin film (1967) remains the most debated piece of evidence.
Physical Characteristics
Height 7–10 ft (2.1–3 m), estimated weight 400–800 lbs. Bipedal gait, broad shoulders, no visible neck, large footprints (15–24 in).
